1, maintenance problems
Plate heat exchanger after a long period of operation, the need for regular cleaning, generally two years cleaning. 2, plate for material problems

The material of ordinary plate heat exchanger usually uses alloy material (304 or 316), 304 is one of the cheapest austenitic stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant to a certain range of organics, but weakly resistant to hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid. General air conditioning host plate heat exchanger material used is 304, then after 8 years, the plate will breakdown, corrosion is inevitable.


3, installation problems
The system is only equipped with a "Y" filter, not installed electronic water treatment devices, so it is difficult to ensure that the piping system does not scale. In addition, if the "Y" filter cleaning is not timely, so that the circulating water is still residual even on the shell and tube heat exchanger basically does not constitute a hazard of tiny gravel, there will be a wear and tear of the plate heat exchanger hazards.

6, the working conditions of water quality
At present, the plate heat exchanger using the poor water quality, and most of the purification, filtration treatment, scaling, corrosion is widespread.
