An APV Plate Heat Exchanger Gasket is a critical component of APV plate heat exchangers, which are used for efficient heat transfer in various industries like food processing, chemical, and HVAC systems. The gasket ensures a tight seal between the plates, preventing fluid leaks while allowing efficient heat transfer between two fluids in the exchanger.

The APV plate heat exchanger gasket, featuring a signal hole and a double-sealing construction, is placed on the corrugated plate. Plate heat exchanger sealing gaskets can be categorized into three types based on their installation method on the heat exchange plate:

Direct adhesive type: After applying sealant to the sealing gasket, it is directly affixed into the installation groove of the heat exchange plate.
Plastic nail embedded type: The heat exchange plate is designed with assembly holes, and rubber nails are present on the side of the sealing gasket. After positioning the sealing gasket into the installation slot, the rubber nails are embedded in the assembly holes.
Snap-on type: Buckles are located on the side of the sealing gasket, allowing the gasket to be securely fastened to the heat exchange plate.

The APV plate heat exchanger gasket, with its signal hole and double-sealing construction, is positioned on the corrugated plate. In the event the first seal fails, the medium can escape through the signal hole, allowing for timely identification and correction of the issue before the two media mix.

The APV J series gaskets include models J060, J092, J107, and J185. The J107 start plate gasket allows for immediate installation, while J060 and J092 require specific sections to be cut off as shown in the diagram. The J185 model requires an additional section to be added at the indicated location.
