Semi-welded plate heat exchanger is especially provided for heating and cooling of corrosive media, widely used in ammonia refrigeration, sulphuric acid, caustic soda, petrochemicals, metallurgy, machinery, pharmaceuticals, food and other industrial fields, especially for the evaporation and condensation of refrigerants such as ammonia and Freon, for chemical and general process heat exchange of corrosive media to the gasket is also the ideal heat exchange equipment.


First, Working principle

The structure of the semi-welded plate heat exchanger is that each of the two corrugated plates is positioned back-to-back and laser welded together as a "box" along the sealing grooves designed for the semi-welded PHE gaskets. The semi-welded plates of the PHE are specifically designed for corrosive media and this construction has a welded seal on one side and a gasket seal on the other, eliminating the risk of corrosion of the seal. Sensitive media flow through the welded flow channels and conventional media flow through the conventional flow channels for heat transfer.

The gasket also has the advantage of easy cleaning and good resistance to thermal stress.

The flow path design can increase the turbulent strength of the medium flowing into the plate heat exchanger, enhancing the heat transfer effect and reducing the corresponding pressure loss.
