Two kinds of media are intertwined (internal leakage)
Cause
① The heat exchange tube is corroded, perforated and cracked.
②The heat exchange tube and tube sheet expansion (weld joint) cracked.
③Floating head flange sealing leakage of floating head heat exchanger.
Processing method
① Replace or block the leaking heat exchange tube.
②The heat exchange tube and the tube sheet are re-expanded (repaired welding) or blocked.
③Tighten bolts or replace sealing gaskets.
2. Seal leakage at the flange
Cause
①The gasket is under pressure, corroded and deteriorated.
②The bolt strength is insufficient, loose or corroded.
③The flange rigidity is insufficient and the sealing surface is defective.
④ The flange is uneven or misplaced, and the gasket quality is not good.
Processing method
①Tighten the bolts and replace the gaskets.
②Upgrade bolt material, tighten bolts or replace bolts.
③ Replace the flange or deal with the defect.
④ Reassemble or replace flanges and gaskets.
3. Poor heat transfer effect
Cause
①Scaling of the heat exchange tube.
② Poor water quality, oil pollution and many microorganisms.
③Short circuit of separator
Processing method
①Chemical cleaning or jet cleaning dirt.
②Strengthen filtration and purification media, and strengthen water quality management.
③Replace the pipe box gasket or replace the partition.
4, the resistance drop exceeds the allowable value
Cause
Scaling in the shell and inside and outside the tube
Processing method
Use jet or chemical to clean dirt
5, Severe vibration
Cause
①Resonance caused by the frequency of the medium.
②Resonance caused by external pipeline vibration.
Processing method
① Change the flow rate or change the natural frequency of the tube bundle.
②Strengthen the pipeline to reduce vibration.
