How can I tell if the heat exchanger is clogged?

 

  If the difference in pressure between the supply and return water on the primary side or between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger on the secondary side exceeds 0.15MPa or more, and the secondary water supply temperature is not hot, check whether the heat exchanger is clogged. The method of checking is to dismantle and clean the heat exchanger.

 

What are the reasons for the system not heating up? How should they be analysed?

 

  The following reasons are analysed for the low temperature of the secondary water supply and the lack of heat:

  Insufficient water supply flow on the primary side:

  Check whether all the valves of the primary side water supply and return pipelines are all open.

  Check whether the primary water supply filter is clogged.

  If all the valves open, and then judge the primary supply and return water pressure difference, if the pressure difference is less than 0.05MPa, please heat company to increase the flow. If the pressure difference between primary supply and return water is more than 0.15MPa, please clean the heat exchanger.

  Secondary side of the system is not smooth:

  Check whether all the valves of the supply and return water pipelines on the secondary side are all open.

  The secondary side filter is clogged.

  If the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger on the secondary side is higher than 0.15MPa, the heat exchanger is clogged, please clean the heat exchanger.

 

There is pressure in the system, but the pressure gauge shows 0, what is wrong?

 

  If the needle valve of the pressure gauge is closed, the pressure gauge will always show 0. During system operation, make sure that all needle valves of the pressure gauge are fully open.

 

What's wrong with overpressure on the secondary side? What can I do about overpressure? How to prevent overpressure in the secondary system?

  When the system is first run, the secondary temperature is relatively low, after the make-up water reaches the fixed pressure value, as the temperature continues to rise, the pressure of the secondary system will also rise, at this time, one should be more exhaust, and the other is to drain the water. When the water is drained, open the secondary return line drain valve can be opened. When the system temperature stabilises, the pressure will not rise again.

 

How to judge whether the filter is clogged?

 

  If the temperature difference between the primary water supply temperature and the primary water return temperature is very large, the high temperature water is more than 45 degrees, the low temperature water is more than 30 degrees, and the secondary water supply is not hot, then please check whether the filter at the primary water supply is clogged.

  If the temperature difference between the secondary water supply temperature and the secondary water return temperature is very large, the temperature difference between the floor heating is more than 15 degrees, the temperature difference between the radiator heating is more than 30 degrees, and the pressure difference is very small, please check whether the filter at the secondary water return is clogged.

 

 

What should I do if the unit's fault indicator light is on, i.e. the yellow indicator light on the control cabinet is on?

 

  The fault indicator light indicates that the corresponding pump is overloaded, the motor current exceeds the rated current, and the thermal relay plays a protective role. It can be disarmed by pressing the reset button on the thermal relay to reset it. Note that the thermal relay must be cooled down before it can be reset, otherwise the reset is invalid.

 

What's wrong with the system that won't fill with make-up water? The make-up pump keeps turning and the pressure does not rise.

  If the make-up pump keeps running and the pressure never reaches the set point, vent the system. Most of the time poor make-up water is caused by the system collecting air.

 

 

What is the reason that the inverter water replenishment is not automatic and the frequency converter does not start?

 

  Check whether the change-over switch is in the position of frequency conversion or automatic, the frequency converter can work normally only when it must be in the position of frequency conversion or automatic.

  Check whether the start button of the make-up water pump is in the running state, only when the green indicator light of the make-up water pump is on, the frequency converter can work normally.

  Check whether there is an alarm code on the operation panel of the frequency converter, the number beginning with F is the fault code, the number beginning with R is the warning code, the warning code does not affect the operation of the frequency converter, while the fault code appears, the frequency converter must be reset before the frequency converter can continue to work. If the fault code appears, please press the EXIT key on the upper left corner of the inverter operation screen.

  The above three conditions must be normal for the inverter to work properly with water replenishment
